16 July 2022 - Star Wars and Stuffed Pepper Soup

 As the title says.

You have one more force-sensitive youngster corrupted by the empire to "rescue". Poor Cor'Ena won't come willingly, they just let her have too much fun.

Good luck! :-)

Comments:
I have to work until around 6 pm, so wont be able to get there until after then.

This is if you guys start before I get off work. It is what Stan would be doing to show that he isn't around.

Stan gathers the others together and makes sure that none of the kids are present on the ship they are on.

"Ok, guys. I need to go work with my pirate fleet for a while. That last girl called me a 'good guy' because I was waving this," pulls out the red lightsaber, activates it and woms it around a few swings. "I had to 'charm' a child into not fighting us." He shivers at that thought.

Stan paces back and forth then turns back to the guys. "I need to go do 'bad' things. I need to check in with my pirate fleet and help them raid some ships to take their valuables, maybe even their ships, ransom some high officials back to the Empire. Pirate things. The underground on that last planet we were on wanted me to smuggle some things for them, or do some underground work, maybe even an assassination or two to get on their good side, to 'prove' myself. I think I'll go do that as well. Maybe I'll get my retirement ship somewhere along the way."

He turns to leave and walks towards the doorway. As he is about to break the plane of the doorway, he slightly turns around and tells them, "Go get the last 'hostage' on your list that you got from darksiders." He pauses and contemplate on that for a second, "You guys do know that you are being manipulated by them, right? I mean, they give you a list of kids, all darkside trained or being trained in it and you all are supposed to be a bunch of lightsiders. Why couldn't they have given you a list of lightside trained or even ones that isn't even trained yet. You are never really going to re-train those kids to be do-gooders like all of you want them to be, right? Eventually they will come for 'their' kids. They wont come and fight for them. They will come bearing gifts for the kids and give them a choice and you all being do-gooders are going to have to let them choose and all that training that will have happened will be for nothing because they will follow them, and not you." He lets that sink in for a few seconds. "Whelp, I'm off. I'm going to do 'bad' stuff. If you need me to get you out of a predicament, and you know you will be getting into one, you know where to call. I might come and save the day for you, I might not. Only time, and his power," points to Matt's character, "will tell."

what? we have destroyed worlds, killed billions, destroyed or stolen trillions in property...how can we be labeled that. as for those docksiders, I know they are not our friends, just not killing each other for now, we cant fight everyone. As for those kids, I will find a Jedi willing to help bring them from the dark and we have the ones from the army of light, have faith in the force, the forces wouldn't bring them t us to just end their lives, we can be their chance they never had.

The Force isn't evil, and neither is the parts that make up the force. it is the soul behind the power and who wields it that make it evil, even the light side can be used to commit evil, The republic Jedi case in point.

Evil can be absolute, but good is often a grey area, as the party knows all too well. That's part of why evil is the easier path since it lacks a need for self-reflection, empathy, or any real inhibitions.

Or'Lorn wishes Stan well on his adventures as he departs, and he hopes his friend can find some temporary peace by doing "pirate things," as he put it. Still, he knew that any solace would be short-lived since you can't unlearn things - Stan had seen too much and been forced to consider all of it, and there's no way one can go back to a simple life after that.

He was right, of course, about the Force-sensitive kids. It was a trap of some sort, but a hero's path involves disarming or even springing traps - it's not like the villains were going to stop making the galaxy a worse place if heroes were not around to challenge them. Whatever the case, the children would be taught in a way to draw them away from the Dark side, but it would still be their choice to make since you can't really force somebody to "do good."

---- Anyway, I'll be there today, but probably on the late side.

he nneds a good strong wife like that twi'lek, to help him pirate.
