Arcane Tower

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone enjoyed last weeks session and the "epic" showdown with Karzoug.  That has to rank as one of the most memorable, fun, and thrilling sessions I've ever participated in as a player or DM.  Congrats to Curtis, Paul, and Dwight for their creative use of PC abilities that changed the course of the fight.  I'm looking forward to seeing what all the PC's can do with mythic abilities as well.

I have other plans for this Saturday, so it will something else on the menu.  Rogue Trader, Iron Kingdoms, or are you guys still doing Shadowrun??  I'm going to take a break from the high level Pathfinder for a bit and run the first module of the Shatter Star Adventure Path next.  So I need you guys to make up 1st level gestalts and let me know what they are.  Rules are no humans or half elf PC's, aasimar and tiefling are allowed instead.  Ask me if you want to play anything else (Curtis, I'll get back to you about the dhampir).
I'll consider allowing samurai, ninja, paladins, gunslingers.  Ask me first though and be ready with a backup in case.  No antipaladins (not that anyone was thinking of playing one).  Alignments are open, just make sure your PC can play nice with others.  Check the "Player's Guide to the Shattered Star Adventure Path," a free PDF from paizo.com for some idea of the adventure will be like.  It also has some interesting ideas for character backgrounds and traits.  See you next week.

Ok, not sure why Kevin hasn't started a post yet, but I guess I'll start one for him.

Kevin had wanted to run Pathfinder this Saturday and try to finish up the campaign.  So, who can be there?


Unfortunately, I probably will not be able to make it.  I've come down with the flu and I'm still pretty sick.  I don't want to come down there and give it to anybody, nor do I want to try and eat some solid food and have it come right back up.  That would just be bad.  So, unless things change drastically in the next couple of days, I probably wont come down.  I'll let you know if anything changes.  Just so you all know, I picked up the bug on Thursday, from my gaming group.  It hit hard Saturday evening.  So, for those of you that I gamed with on Saturday, if you aren't showing any signs of it by now, I didn't give it to you.  I didn't know I had it until Sunday when one of my friends from Thursday posted on Facebook that he had it.  So, I put two and two together and figured I got it from him or one of the other people that I gamed with that night.

Now, as for my car with the coolant leak.  I took it to the shop and it ended up being the water pump.  I had them replace it and it should be good to go for me to drive it without any problems, hopefully.

Ok, so, this week, Terry will be out in California, so, we aren't playing at his place.  We all decided last week that we would meet at the store and play some board games.  Kevin mentioned something about meeting there around 1 pm or so.  I'm not going to be able to make it then, as I have to work and don't get off until 4 pm.  So, I'll be there around 4:30 or so.  Dwight, if you read this, remember to bring your games you have.  Who else is going to make it?

So, I guess Kevin might be too busy to start up a post, so, I'll start it.

We are almost done with Karzog (sp?).  We have a little bit more to go before we get to him.  Kevin said he was going to run this coming Saturday, which he hasn't said differently, yet.  So, who can be there?
