Sat 25 SEP 2021 - Star Wars and Beef

Beef for dinner again. Was going to get chuck roast, but the new york roast was only a dollar per pound more expensive.

XP Award for last session; 20210918: 50 XP (side quests and shopping)
Duty Award for last two sessions combined: 1 each, +5 for Nova's tech acquisition (total 15, but you are now rank 4, reward pending).

Last Time
Results and notes from 20210918, and from previous looting
Your attack on Ord Trasi was quite profitable; profit mostly came in the way of ships and droids, however, less so the desired ship parts. With an additional Imperial II for the Krevan Mercenary Fleet and a pair of upgraded clone-war era arquitens claimed as pet projects by Nova and Aidian. Ronik's arquitens is now complete since he claimed the four barbettes you stole from Ord Trasi... majority vote, he held while you we all asleep. The two newest arquitens DID have their two hard points taken up with hangar bays (I said the points were open, but when I checked my notes, the bays were already installed).

In preparation for the attack on Ord Trasi, Nova found time for one of his many projects, in this case, the reprogramming of the salvaged B1 droids. Mass reprogramming took a month with a little help, but resulted in a small army of B1 pilot droids with a few supervisor droids all trained in the Computer skill in addition to the existing functions pre-made for making them pilot droids. Maybe an army of droids that can repair and reprogram themselves isn't the best idea, but they're loyal so far. Stan-Lee made a trip to Junkfort to purchase restraining bolts to arm the droids with, which allowed them to replace combat losses against other droids with the droids they were fighting. The battles taking over ships are Ord Trasi resulted in the loss of ten-thousand droids, but the acquisition of four thousand construction/destructor droids and four thousand combat droids. Five thousand B1s were also recovered from the battle at the wreckage of the cloaked space station, which were reprogrammed and added back to the army, making its current strength 33,000.

Since you have access to a new droid army of mechanics, repairing and upkeeping ships is much less of an issue. In the last 15 days after the recovery of the destroyed cloaking device, the droids have been working to repair the remaining ships in the inventory and install all available components. There are still some missing weapons and hyperdrives, but there are almost double the functioning ships than were available before the army of droids was added. You have been keeping the droids low-profile. They aren't invisible, but making sure they don't appear to be an army is something the Iegoians clearly appreciate. Since the big construction projects are no longer a main priority for the Iegoians is getting agriculture on Millius Prime running up to sustainment levels, then getting industry going good enough to have exports. The mineral-rich asteroid cloud around Iego would provide raw materials for decades for ship parts and small arms, maybe even large ships with fusion forges. You are also aware that there is potential for spice mining when you feel secure enough to start something that might attract attention. The mandalorian engineers integrate into House Krevan would like to continue as engineers, but a full shipyard is an expensive undertaking. Their suggestion is to acquire the resources to start making ship parts required for Keldabes, and sell those until you have the resources to make the whole ship. They can convert a Harbor-class space station into a manufacturing plant for a weapon system, and you have two unallocated stations at the moment... so seems like an easy decision. The Iegoians suggest that starting with the lighter weapons would attract less attention, but admit that would be less profitable than starting with the more impressive systems.

The last part of your quest is to assign the resources you've gathered to the fleets you have been outfitting. The only hints from the mandalorians for the remaining unallocated ships is that the mandalorian Keldabe shuold be assigned to the House Krevan Mercenary fleet, otherwise they are watching how you make capital decisions by seeing how you allocate the rest. You have enough hyperdrives for all but two of your silhouette seven ships, and your allies suggest that you leave two of the Munificents and assign the rest. You have three silhouette eight vehicles to assign to fleets; two venators and a providence. You have a glut of silhouette four, five and six ships and only one drive for the sixes and four drives for each the fours and fives. The silhouette four and five ships are profitable for selling, and even somewhat useful to ferry workers and material around the system without hyperdrives.

[OOC: Your adventure this week will be about setting up your legitimate businesses; both on Ryloth and your commercial/mercenary/bounty-hunting fleet. How or if they are tied to Iego. Which identities are tied to them; personal and engine signatures. Or you might manage to left-turn the adventure elsewhere; we aren't on a track, more like connected trails you might decide to bushwack between. The chapter will end in loss, as it does for all of those fighting the empire until they unite to restore the Republic. Planning a mass battle, maybe two as well.]

Saturday 18 SEP 2021 - Star Wars and Beef

Unless someone else is planning to GM.

For 18 SEP 2021
XP Award for last session; 20210904: 50 XP (side quests and shopping)
Duty Award for last two sessions combined: 1 each (total 5, but you are now rank 4, reward pending)
With the new award, your total XP should be 2700 (plus racial). Think of an attachment or mod you want (some will be granted, some will be made quest objectives).

How many new droids did Stan purchase last time? As a note, I did get the races mixed up a bit. The planet you were at to get new identities, Gand, is a planet of bug people, not the race with pleated cheeks.

 Hi Guys,

Just starting a post for this weekend.  I'm available and plan to continue with Pathfinder.  Will post a recap of recent developments later, just need to get an idea of who will be available this weekend.  See you Sat.

Sat 04 SEP 2021 - Star Wars and Brats

Still need buns. I might be able to get some Friday on the way home from work though.

Mission for 04 SEP 2021

XP Award for last session ; 20210828: 100 XP (pushing to the next story, and got a lot done)

With the new award, your total XP should be 2650 (plus racial). Think of an attachment or mod you want (some will be granted, some will be made quest objectives).

Results and notes from 20210828, any from previous looting

While you have done a significant amount of looting, salvaging and repairing of capital ships, none of it compares to a fight with a roaming dark side force vergence. With Vader distracted for the time being, you have time to reconnect with your current mission and complete salvaging projects and meditate on the meaning of a fight with Darth Vader. You don't know why you were allowed to escape, but you get the feeling that it wasn't for your benefit, and it won't be your last encounter with the Dark Lord.

The MandalMotors employees you helped immigrate to the House Krevan Fleet are going to do one more favor for you before they integrate into house Krevan and its fleet; they assume you will ask them to assist in manufacturing and installing the hyperdrive for the Lucrehulk. You haven't decided which fleet the Lucrehulk will finally serve; either the House Krevan Home Fleet or the Iegoian Home Fleet. It will take 40 days for them to do the work with Nova's leadership, what does everyone else do with that time? Ronic is still working on “his” Arquitens. He still can't convince enough of the Iegoian engineers to assist him (failed negotiation checks), but they still watch him working on his own using the force to move big parts around.

You now have multiple ships in the work queue that need significant work, but are space-worthy in an emergency. The biggest four ships each need between 10 and 100 24-hour work days from a 5,000-man work crew, while each of the silhouette five and six ships need half the work from a 100-man crew. While your silhouette 8 and 9 hyperdrives are spoken for, you should think a little about which order the ships should get repaired and which fleets they will serve; two smaller fleets for yourselves are part of the plan, but you need to limit those to silhouette 6 plus the pirate munificent.

Your droid work crew now has 8 construction droids (Stan-Lee 7, Ronik 1), 45 dum-dums (Stan-Lee), 20 buzz droids (Stan-Lee... not really good workers), and 7 deconstructors (Nova); and sometimes a Q-7 with a parrot painted on it that follows Stan-Lee around. The Venator you found has been upgraded to include six mass drives, two octuple barbetts, a holographic projector and a secondary transponder, and it's work crew would be willing to do something else as a favor for rescuing them (like build the hyperdrive for the lucrehulk from materials at Iego), then start work on the newest acclimator you gave the to the House Krevan Home fleet (and eventually whatever work the Iegoians can't do on the other ships assigned to the Krevan fleets).

Someone on or associated with Junkfort station is investigating Odin and his cohorts. That can't bode well, but Junkfort is still an ideal location for getting work done to big ships, and finding a variety of illicit goods.

Your remaining available targets are the Imperial shipyards at Ord Trasi, where they are upgrading imperial star destroyers, the old CIS supply point that has 4 Venator hulks awaiting rebirth (and some scrap) and maybe some piracy. With your recent acquisitions, your interest in the Ord Trasi shipyards is now more about stealing some new Octuple Barbetts, but some more hyperdrives would still be useful.

You have the ARC-170 available if you want to do some reconnaissance, in addition to your stealthy Hutt's Bounty. Poor Dr. Boring is still obsessing over his Arquitens; he should be able to requisition the needed 100-man work crew after the new refugees get settled in. Knowing its just a matter of time doesn't stop his obsessing, however.
