Sat 04 SEP 2021 - Star Wars and Brats
Still need buns. I might be able to get some Friday on the way home from work though.
Mission for 04 SEP 2021
XP Award for last session ; 20210828: 100 XP (pushing to the next story, and got a lot done)
Duty Award for last two sessions combined: 5 each (exceeds 100 now, which resets it to 0 for everyone, but you are now rank 4, reward pending)
With the new award, your total XP should be 2650 (plus racial). Think of an attachment or mod you want (some will be granted, some will be made quest objectives).
Results and notes from 20210828, any from previous looting
While you have done a significant amount of looting, salvaging and repairing of capital ships, none of it compares to a fight with a roaming dark side force vergence. With Vader distracted for the time being, you have time to reconnect with your current mission and complete salvaging projects and meditate on the meaning of a fight with Darth Vader. You don't know why you were allowed to escape, but you get the feeling that it wasn't for your benefit, and it won't be your last encounter with the Dark Lord.
The MandalMotors employees you helped immigrate to the House Krevan Fleet are going to do one more favor for you before they integrate into house Krevan and its fleet; they assume you will ask them to assist in manufacturing and installing the hyperdrive for the Lucrehulk. You haven't decided which fleet the Lucrehulk will finally serve; either the House Krevan Home Fleet or the Iegoian Home Fleet. It will take 40 days for them to do the work with Nova's leadership, what does everyone else do with that time? Ronic is still working on “his” Arquitens. He still can't convince enough of the Iegoian engineers to assist him (failed negotiation checks), but they still watch him working on his own using the force to move big parts around.
You now have multiple ships in the work queue that need significant work, but are space-worthy in an emergency. The biggest four ships each need between 10 and 100 24-hour work days from a 5,000-man work crew, while each of the silhouette five and six ships need half the work from a 100-man crew. While your silhouette 8 and 9 hyperdrives are spoken for, you should think a little about which order the ships should get repaired and which fleets they will serve; two smaller fleets for yourselves are part of the plan, but you need to limit those to silhouette 6 plus the pirate munificent.
Your
droid work crew now has 8 construction droids (Stan-Lee 7, Ronik 1),
45 dum-dums (Stan-Lee), 20 buzz droids (Stan-Lee... not really good
workers), and 7 deconstructors (Nova); and sometimes a Q-7 with a
parrot painted on it that follows Stan-Lee around. The Venator you
found has been upgraded to include six mass drives, two octuple
barbetts, a holographic projector and a secondary transponder, and
it's work crew would be willing to do something else as a favor for
rescuing them (like build the hyperdrive for the lucrehulk from
materials at Iego), then start work on the newest acclimator you gave
the to the House Krevan Home fleet (and eventually whatever work the
Iegoians can't do on the other ships assigned to the Krevan fleets).
Someone on or associated with Junkfort station is investigating Odin and his cohorts. That can't bode well, but Junkfort is still an ideal location for getting work done to big ships, and finding a variety of illicit goods.
Your remaining available targets are the Imperial shipyards at Ord Trasi, where they are upgrading imperial star destroyers, the old CIS supply point that has 4 Venator hulks awaiting rebirth (and some scrap) and maybe some piracy. With your recent acquisitions, your interest in the Ord Trasi shipyards is now more about stealing some new Octuple Barbetts, but some more hyperdrives would still be useful.
You have the ARC-170 available if you want to do some reconnaissance, in addition to your stealthy Hutt's Bounty. Poor Dr. Boring is still obsessing over his Arquitens; he should be able to requisition the needed 100-man work crew after the new refugees get settled in. Knowing its just a matter of time doesn't stop his obsessing, however.
Hulks waiting hyperdrives, weapons and probably other repairs
Silhouette Nine: Lucrehulk (has weapons and an improvised backup hyperdrive)
Assumed to be intended for the mandalorians non-combatant fleet
Silhouette Eight: 6 more Venators, and a Providence(?) awaiting recovery at a secret CIS deep-space supply point
3 Hyperdrives in inventory for these
No claims on these until the hyperdrives are installed.
Silhouette Seven: 2 Haven-class mobile spacedocks, 4 Munificents, 2 Neutron Stars, 1 Keldabe
7 Hyperdrives in inventory for these
Iegoian locals want the neutron stars to use as a merchant fleet, and the mobile spacedocks.
The mandalorians expect the Keldabe to be repaired and given to them, but also want the spacedocks.
Silhouette Six: 12 Clone-war-era Arquitens-class cruisers (one claimed by Dr. Boring dubbed setting sun)
2 Hyperdrives in inventory for these (one Claimed by Dr. Boring)
Silhouette Five: 11 Deep Space Recovery Vehicles, 13 c70 Chargers (one with extra weapons)
Dr. Boring has used the c70 chargers with extra weapons and if it gets a hyperdrive, he will keep using it until he gets an arquitens ready.
Everyone wants a DPRV, good thing there are several.
Silhouette Four: 12 Nu-class shuttles with cargo containers.
