08 JAN 2022 - Star Wars and Food

Continuing on in the world of Star War.

Your allies at Iego have scattered, less than a quarter of them ended up at the same location as you, orbiting a black hole (from a safe distance) near Kessel. Unexplained gravitational anomalies cause some interference with sensors here, which is a good thing for hiding. While your group of survivors has enough resources to survive for about six months, getting more is a priority; for them at least.

Your survivors are currently weighing the cost-benefits of mining and processing the larger objects in the outer reaches of the accretion disk, and moving into it and mining separated particles or plasma. The large craft that accompanied you to the black hole spot are setting up their factory, however, no use of the factory ships will result in a "low profile"; mass drivers and battleships always attract attention. Funny how much attention a working cloaking device seems to garner.

Your pirate "fleet" is with you too.

Your first thoughts are about which identities have been compromised, and which will still prove useful in gathering supplies. Discovering the whereabouts of the other escapees also feels like something you should do, but keeping low and not having your survival discovered are goals that seem more important, and counter to the goal of rebuilding the Iego/Mandalorian fleets.

Maybe see if things are going well for any of your imperial contacts. Lt. Cheri might not know your real identities yet. The mining planet she oversees might be turned to resource production you can use; maybe convince her that food production will be a good addition to the khyber mining.

On the rebellion front; the Empire launched simultaneous attacks on Lothal, Adumar and Iego while having to defend against an attack on Scarif. While Imperial propaganda is claiming victory, your rebel sources clearly state otherwise. Worse, something else is afoot that the rebels are investigating. Reconnaissance by the remnants of the Partisans suggests that about half of the defenders of Iego survived. The biggest of the capital ships escaped, but half of the factory ships and battleships were destroyed in the process.

 ***

Planning bell pepper soup for dinner, but that may change depending on what shopping I can do on Friday. Crazy work schedule this week, and possible for the next few weeks, make shopping more of a main than it normally is.

See you all Saturday.

Comments:
I currently have to work 11 am to 7 pm on Saturday. So, that means about 7:30 or so before I can get there. That is, if the weather doesn't change to bad.

So for dinner, just going to do tacos in a bowl. I've got ground beef, refried beans, cheese, salsa and corn chips. (I've got low-carb tortillas if anyone wants to use those to make soft tacos).
Could use some sour creme and regular taco shells if someone wants to grab those on the way over.

Do we have any cloaks ship in the middle of being made and could be finished? also can we make them with out stealth and cram the space with quads and armor? I think stealthing cargo ship would be good.

We should make x-wings or destinies, and or small arms to the rebels threw contacts and good idea for food and source material, can they grow on the mining planet? Xwings and small arms are not what we normally do.

any xp for last week?
