Saturday 14 AUG 2021 - Sausage and Star Wars
XP Award for last session - 202100807: 100 XP (pushing to the next story)
With
the new award, your total XP should be 2350 (plus racial). Think of
an attachment or mod you want (some will be granted, some will be
made quest objectives).
Your current mission is to acquire, by any means, capital ships to act as home and business fleets for both House Krevan and the citizens of Iego, and create pirate fleets and a business fleet for yourself.
So far, you have obtained a stripped Acclimator and a fully functioning Cantwell for the House Krevan mercenary fleet, a Munificent for the pirate fleet, the parts for a mobile space dock for Iego and a c70 Charger that doesn't have a stated identity yet (needs a hyperdrive, but has weapons).
You know of two accessible ship yards that might have light enough security to steal from:
1) The shipyards at Ord Trasi where Imperial I-class star destroyers are being refit into Imperial II-class star destroyers, and Arquitens light cruisers are being refit into Aqruitens command cruisers. There is a heavy imperial presence in space here; getting caught will require an all-out war to escape.
2) The scrap yards of Bracca. Venators and Acclimators and some smaller ships are being stripped of the most valuable parts in space then de-orbited to the surface of Bracca for further recycling. The imperial presence here is significant, like Ord Trasi it will require an army to escape. Unlike Ord Trasi, hiding here may be easier. The ships here may be less useful, but it might be a good spot to get parts.
3) You have identified an area of empty space that seems to have been of interest to the CIS, maybe something useful is there.
4) Simple piracy is also an option, just more likely to push you all further down the morality track... but might be worth it to capture some Zygerian ships.
Remember, all of the ships you have sought so far have been missing their hyperdrives, and hyperdrives are big (two sizes smaller than the ship they are used in). Your deep-space recovery vehicle, could carry a silhouette 4 hyperdrive, but most other silhouette five vehicles don't have the space required.
I tried to look up stats for those ships and couldn't find them. if we get rescued I say we working on making the ships and platform working. And raiding slavers for goods and freeing slaves sounds good. Getting food production up will be a good start. And crew..... maybe while we are fixing making the ships more automated.
And i mean repurposing their ship and finding a nice planet for the newly freed people,
Been looking at the red books and wow, if I had know about those specs, most of them would have been a better fit for my character's story. doctor/medic, marshal/commando recruit/cadet...
Military Modular Backpack Frame (MMBF) (10), Oxygen Unit for MMBF (300), Storage Unit for MMBF (25), Sensor Unit for MMBF (500), Power Unit for MMBF (250), Temperature Control Unit for MMBF (500), Comms Unit for MMBF (500),
WESTAR-35 (1,200),
Ascension Gun attachment (500),
Z-6 JetPack (5,250),
GALAAR-15 (1,100),
Shadow Cloak (2,500),
Energy Buckler (1,000),
Proton Grenade (60),
Plasma Grenade (125),
Mk II EMP Grenade (150),
Crushgaunts (5,000+),
Kal Dagger (4,000+),
The + indicates some noteworthy act that makes a good story to justify the extra beskar expense as part of the price.
You have a good-condition ARC-170 and c70 charger that require significant maintenance and a hyperdrive for the charger.
So, back to awaiting rescue in the acclimator...
