So who will be available this Saturday / Monday?
Pot roast is the dinner plan again. Have asparagus for a side dish.

I have to work 11 to 7 on Saturday, so I will be late. I thought I heard that Matt was going home this weekend. As for Monday, don't have next week's schedule yet to know when or if I'm working.
off monday, and as a side note was there orphans on the planet that need help. If there is allot will contact mother to send some people. And if they got the tracking thing solved maybe set up here. Help prtect for land space and train people to use this ship?
I just got next week's schedule and I am off on Monday. However, they got me working again on Saturday from 11 to 7.
Current character XP status: 75 XP award for the last three adventures, bringing the total to 1825 XP (plus racial). Force-sensitives must spend 50 of it on their new force power; otherwise, please keep moving towards the goal of completing their specialization trees (except for the last dedication), getting your key three skills up to rank five (and several rank 2 skills and a few at rank 4) and completing a signature ability.
***Last time on Dusk of Freedom 3, the long Knight: Nova, O'Lorn, Stan-Lee and Dr. Boring ended up on an unknown planet (Zophis) approximately 1900 years ago thanks to a rather fortunate hyperdrive malfunction. While they never discovered the name of the planet, they did meet a Jedi Lord of the army of light, other jedi of the time and were able to spend time both learning about the jedi of the past and also study the plasma disruptor protecting the planet. They also fought with the brotherhood of darkness along side the army of light. During a battle in the main power chamber for the plasma disruptor, the Jedi Lord sabotaged the carbonite safety system to flood the whole room as the sith lord leading the brotherhood army struck him down; freezing the six large khyber gems, strange purple crystal and survivors of both armies in carbonite. (The Jedi Lord had moved their ship-from-the-future down to the power room to keep it away from prying eyes that might disrupt the timeline... or to be in the area of his carbonite trap).
***Back in modern times, Aadian and Pasht were tracking a distress signal sent from an unknown planet towards Iego from a source 1900 light years away. The strange signal included a 20-digit code and was trying to reach “My Master”, which happens to be the name of the Firespray liberated from the the Oovo IV prison hangar. Upon reaching the supposed source of the signal, they found a small imperial fleet blockading the planet. Aidian could feel a great source of darkness emanating from the planet, along with a force-granted feeling that he needed to get down there and find the source of darkness. Aidian slipped on board the closest ship, a new Imperial Raider while My Master made a quick escape from the Raider's massive ion canon. Aidian manufactured a not-as-fake-as-intended emergency to force the Raider to land so he could sneak off which resulted in a crash landing that left the ship crippled. On the unknown planet, Aidian found a large military facility with a deep underground mine-like section made of what turned out to be carbonite. In addition to the living research team, the cave housed a battle between the ancient army of light and brootherhood of darkness along with a frozen ship; the Hutt's Bounty. Around the outer circumference of the room stood four large khyber crystals frozen in carbonite, and spaces for two more now missing crystals. In the middle of the room is a damaged large green crystal still partially covered in carbonite with a chunk missing as if a large creature took a bite out of it.
***The release panel for the carbonite was at the entrance of the room, and it accepted the code Aidian entered form the 1900-year-old message, restating the ancient battle. Most of the combatants recovered quickly from the carbonite sickness, with Aidian taking the initiative to taunt the sith leader into focusing on him while the rest of the team attempts to rescue as many jedi as possible from the unfrozen sith... and kill as many sith as possible in the process. The sith lord accidentally turned Aidian into a missile in an attempt to move him to the top of the ship where he had just killed the jedi lord. Between a couple shatter canon rounds and a magic dagger, the sith lord was quickly dealt with, while the sabotaged elevator and collapsed stairwell funneled surviving with into the other stairwell where many would be killed before escaping into the galaxy.

What remains is two main goals: (1) Fighting off the inevitable Imperial reprisal for taking the system from them in the first place, and (2) convincing the Empire no to return to Iego after they are defeated twice. A show of force will not deter them, they would see the long-term military resistance as a training opportunity (XP farm), and a good example of Imperial determination (for revenge). They will have to be convinced that there is a good reason to avoid Iego.

Although he has taken some losses, he knows that there are several staging areas set up to bring in five to ten capital ships to pacify Iego and show the galaxy what happens to those who attack the Empire. They are preparing for several waves and a long siege. He emphasizes that the super weapon, if rebuilt could defend Iego, but this will be an ongoing battle site unless the Empire is crushed. He has left hidden bomb in two imperial weapons caches, but that will only take out some ground forces. He estimates two more months until they respond, give or take a week or two.
* Super Weapon: It will take many man-years of work to complete this task. The plans from the ancient plasma disruptor will have to be altered to work for the mega-laser, the entire structure will have to be repaired, the mega-laser rebuilt and the reflector-hive replaced with high redundancy. This will take most of the remaining two months and require difficult mechanics checks, leadership checks and mass-combat-style checks (to organize a large semi-willing workforce for highly-skilled, skilled and unskilled labor).
