Talked to Kevin, he has been sick for like a week, but he confirmed that he will be running on March 30th. So, this weekend it will be either Curtis or Terry running things. So, we will either be fighting Orcs and Ogres or people with blaster and lightsabers.

Get well soon Kevin. I hope it's not the cold I had. That was horrible and lingered.
I got the shadowlands book and the next adventure (mask of the oni) today.
I believe everyone got 15 xp last session, as you successfully traveled to the Yasuki palace and got the attention of Hida O-Ushi, who happens to be in command of the Crab forces that aren't on the wall (their reserve/punishment units). O-ushi failed her "hunt for the mythical beast with two backs" due to the interventions of Daidoji Uji, but after listening to the PC's, she (and the PC's) are planning another "hunting party", this time traveling to Razor of the Dawn Fort where you're expecting the shadowlands "horde" to attack.
You had also met Kitsune Ryosei and discovered that something powerfully evil is held within Kyuden Kitsune. That evil somehow escaped from it's prison, but was subsequently returned. Coincidently, the former Daimyo of the Fox clan was recently killed by a member of Hare clan, who was in turn killed by Kitsune Ryosei. Something which hadn't come up in the last session, but which you would have overheard at court, is that Falcon clan has also had trouble with Hare clan "bandits".. the Falcon don't say what the Hare have stolen, and nobody asks.

Are we taking any Rings to 5? I foresee a need for skills on the battlefield vs. just a ring if we're commanding troops, but we'll see what happens.
Ah, the fun of a simple Crab Clan sumo match! And, of course nobody speaks of whatever the Hare have stolen... evil artifacts... whatever. It would be impolite to do so, of course.
