Arcane Tower

No meeting this week, so, will try to get there earlier than last week, hopefully.
 

so last week we finished the adventure in which the players were sent to find out from where the shadowlands creatures previously encountered had come. Everyone (present or not) got 18 xp for last week, which I think should put everyone at 80 or 81 xp.

The next adventure involves going to winter court in crab lands. you have about 3 weeks of downtime before then, which is probably spent either at the palace of the Emerald champion or at the Black Crane Palace (A.K.A. Yasuki Palace) but short trips elsewhere are not out of the question. Although you haven't been given any official tasks for court, it should be pretty clear that Sumiko expects you to convince the crab to prepare at least some of their legions for an attack from within Rokugan.
 

Any thoughts on HOW to convince the Crab based on in-game knowledge? As a Crane, I might be able to do the whole "We aren't friends, but even we agree on this" thing with them. My character would spend some time brushing up on Crab culture (if it can be called that, hehe) for this diplomatic meeting. I should be there today.
