Saturday, November (yes, November already) 3rd

Ok, talked to Kevin and he said that might be running on November 10th.  So, that gives us one more weekend to fly all over space and "Crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentation of the women!

So, who can be there?

Comments:
I'll be there, just not sure when, as that is one of the days I wanted to move my stuff from the upstairs room to the basement.

I should be running Star Wars again this week.
Planning on bell pepper soup again, but haven't gone shopping yet. I'll let you know if that plan changes.

Time Passage: About a month has gone by while everyone takes a turn getting their ships created or updated by the living planet Zonama Sekot. Most of you have to spend time getting used to your ship, and the builders recommend staying with the ship as much as possible for at least a month. This doesn't mean you don't get to do anything else though. You can do some other “chores” as needed.
(OOC: skill cap is now rank 3 for all skills, you gain 30 more xp for increasing skills only. Campaign skills are still limited to 3, but that will change soon)
(OOC: I've re-jiggered how I want the living ships made again, the sil 4 ones I made as example kept ending up way more powerful than I wanted them to be; sorry. Can you guys please post your total Presense+Willpower+Intelect+Force Rating and your total Charm+Discipline+Medicine+Perception+Pilot(space) (after spending XP). I will have a few examples ready so those not overly interested in the details of the living ships don't have to spend too much time on it.)
You have time for up to FIVE minor chores.
**Researching wild space and outer rims events (not slicing, just analyzing semi-public data) for interesting information.
**Slicing imperial networks (this is dangerous, using your bugged hyperspace link from the not-really-an-inquisitor) for juicier information.
**Add a mod to a lightsaber crystal (max 4, parts available)
**Add an attachment to a lightsaber (max 1, ask GM about parts)
**Work on improving a living attachment on your new vehicles with the help of the locals (max 1, get two upgrades on the check from help)
**Craft usable materials from recovered scrap (this may take more than one chore's worth of time)
**Craft something useful after making materials (this may take more than one chore's worth of time)
**Learn more about the locals
**Train existing apprentices/crew, recruit new ones.
**Work on recruiting your small imperial retinue (maybe train them to be more useful).
**Ask for other interesting things you might plan to do while stuck on Zonama Sekot.

Is that 5 chores per person or for the entire group?

I'd probably work on improving my living ship, learning more about the locals, training people, and trying to work on improving our Imperial crew. I get that they may never be "good" aligned, but they can at least be more useful. And, perhaps if they are not always afraid and nearly useless, they'll not only be better crew, but gain a greater appreciate for the concept of freedom, which would help our overall goals. They'll never be Rebels, but they can be more than boot-licks or canon-fodder.

I don't know my numbers off hand, but you did write them down when you were making up my ship, which I still cannot read your small handwriting.

As for chores, I need to make up another new lightsaber to house my brand new Krayt Dragon Pearl. Other than that, I'd either just keep working on my lightsabers or upgrading my ship. Just have to see what I can and can't do on them to decide.

1) I have a question can we get intel from the 100 prisoners, the base and the 2 wrecked shops in space. Intel might give a better direction togo.

2) Can the planet deal with the 100 people? If they cant, we need to take care of them. Maybe Turn them over to other factions that don't like deathwatch.

3)I think we can use this planet as a base or if we do we should make the moon fortified, let all off worlders go there before being allowed on planet. Or continue looking for a base so we can build up. We really cant take either of the 3 factions on till we increase our numbers.

4) If not try to find and help rebels, break them out of prisons or free slaves in hope some of them would like to work with us. We could ask that one guy if he wants any of his rivals embarrassed from rebels escaping.

I got yours Rhyus, but I expect one of them to change before Saturday with the 30 extra xp I gave for skills only; everyone should have 900 xp in addition to starting (racial +10 for morality) xp.

Each person gets five chores for about a month of down-time. You have to spend a lot of time managing your ships, but you can get a little additional stuff done too.

The imperials tagging along can, over time be recruited. Look for good in-game chances to make charm rolls against them. A single charm check doesn't do much, but may have short-term impacts. Otherwise the act of engaging with them over the long haul may effectively recruit them.

1 & 2) You can't get much info on the Undead (the return of the deathwatch) from the survivors or salvage. The only other faction you are aware of is the reavers, who would be glad to kill them for you if you want to turn them over. If one of your spends a chore interrogating them, you will get a little info, but it won't be super valuable.

3) The local want to keep charge of this planet and the moon. If you establish a base here, it will just be a facility you control, not the planet. Charm and leadership checks can lean on your reputation to wield great influence, but you aren't in charge here. There are multiple factions among the natives that are vying for local power though.

4) Fun idea, will require some research on your part. The imperials among you recommend not trying to contact the boss unless you have an emergency. They file reports through to one of his servants, who won't be interested in passing along your targeting request, unless the servant thinks it will help her. He sent you out here so he didn't have to do it, just keep killing potential enemies of the empire, and he'll be happy... he won't be too happy about imperial prison breaks.

Can you also list the dead leaders stuff?

17/6 Stats

1) Train existing apprentices/crew, recruit new ones. We need peeps

2) Continue and help Work on recruiting your small imperial retinue (maybe train them to be more useful).

3)Learn about the locals and help then rebuild if needed. Also see if i can have a chat with the planet.

4)Craft usable materials from recovered scrap (this may take more than one chore's worth of time) using this label to help deal with the conflict of death of the leader. "Killing should always be last resort but it seems to hmm that he/the force seems to be relieved and happy that the despot is gone. How it was a short after thought and done..... was it revenge for the damage to the planet or years of being hunted and and constant looking over the shoulder."

5)repeet 4 if needed or Researching wild space and outer rims events (not slicing, just analyzing semi-public data) for interesting information.

Presence and rest = 11

Skills = 9

I'm waiting on a friend to come and help me move my stuff from the top floor to the basement. I'm not sure when that will happen, but, I'm not going to wait all day long for him to decide to help me. I may cut the waiting at 3 pm to give myself time to shower and get to your house.

Oh, forgot to ask, are we able to take the Warrior classes now?

All specializations are available with a good excuse except for Pirate and Juyo Berserker. (One of the pirate talents bothers me and Juyo will become available if/when you find a holocron that teaches it).
