Saturday, September 15th

Ok, so, I believe Kevin is still out.  I believe he said the 22nd for his next run at Pathfinder.

So, this week should be one of the Star Wars games.  Terry and Dwight will have to battle it out as to who will be running.

Who will be coming?

Comments:
I'll be there and I'll try to be early.

Did we get any xp from last week, other than the bonus stuff that we finally got?

How about xp in Terry's game?

I'm hoping Dwight will continue his until we complete this adventure, then I'll take a turn unless he wants to continue.

Dwight didn't award XP last week, I expect he'll wait until the end of the adventure.

In my game, you should have 765 earned XP (plus your racial xp).

I got some ground beef for dinner, not sure if I'll feel like making burgers, or if it will be burritos again.

Note for my game: The living ships didn't turn out as useful as I wanted them to be, so I'm adjusting the plan for them, and the next adventures will be side quests on the way to finding the planet again in your own time. I want the ships to be as powerful with the bonded pilot as the crew as a fully crewed comparable ship, and twice as powerful with a full crew. They're special, not one ship against a fleet special but the characters should be a battle group unto themselves... time for some more recruiting.

For this week, when we're all here, we should review the loot list for Kevin's game too, so we don't have to do that when he's available to run.

The weapon has a large spread, an explosive blast, or similar area of effect, like the detonation of a grenade or a warhead fired from a missile launcher. If the attack is successful and Blast activates, ***each character (friend or foe) engaged with the original target*** suffers damage equal to the weapon’s Blast rating (plus an additional wound per # as usual).(copy and pasted)

Engaged is also used to indicate that a person is close enough to an item to use it. An Artisan needs to be engaged with a security terminal to attempt to hack it. A Starfighter Ace needs to be engaged with his starfighter to board it. A Pathfinder needs to be engaged with a tree if he wants to hide behind it for cover while tracking his target. The engaged status simply indicates that two things are close enough to each other to directly interact (copy and pasted)

So grenades just got weaker, cause most of the time bad guys are not engaging other bad guys, in combat, unless they're in tight space or sharing cover.(small cover and desperate enough to get close and personal.) Seems like to me they made them work like in real life, not really for out in the open combat but for trench fighting.

When characters attack a group, they attack the group as a whole, not an individual. Likewise, minions make one attack per group, not per individual.(copy and pasted)

A Group of 5 minions is actual one unit. One attack one block of damage.
You engage one minion you engage all of that group. works out good and bad for players.

Now if I run run them as single but week npcs, the group effect doesn't apply.

As for XP, the modules give it out at the end of the adventure and most people just got 100 to 150 xp, so you all should be good.

I also agree with Terry, no advantages outside combat will remove strain except for 2 reasons. 1) one I say so 2) It was a challenging role for the person.

Will run till the end, and I would like any further discussion about grenades be anywhere else but during game.

Also I apologize for messing up the description for some of the scene and not being clear.

PS. I will ad some extra xp for how things wend for each chapter suck as Rping and ideas.

how things went chapter, such as....

Hey Guys, looks like I will be free this weekend and can run Pathfinder this Saturday. Last change in plans, so I will be available on this weekend as well.
