Sat the 9th

Hey Guys,

Its a new weekend and I'm back to run Pathfinder.  The party eliminated the remaining hostile aliens in the Spider of the Scar and found (rescued?) the missing AI Casandalee.  The party now has an opportunity to rest and re-equip before proceeding onto your next goal, infiltrating the city of Starfall and taking on the powerful Technic League who controls all technology in Numeria and access to the Silver Mount where the evil robots come from. 

So you have 60 days to sell and by stuff as well as craft items.  You have access to a working lab and geothermal generator that can run a military and production lab simultaneously as well as a technomancer (Paul's follower) who can craft technical items for reduced time and cost.  You have access via teleport to large cities, so gathering resources and trading shouldn't be an issue.  And you might not want to venture into Starfall just yet. 

Starfall is a very corrupt city, ruled by the Black Sovereign Kevoth-Kul in name, but in reality kept barely in order by the Technic League.  Most tech is outlawed, allowed only with permission from and fees paid to the League.  Your brain in a jar can be a source for more info about Starfall and the Technic League. 

I'd like to get the loot for sale listed posted here if possible so you guys can see what's available.  Let me know what you'd like to purchase, the sooner I know, the more likely it is to be available.  And please let me know if you will be available this weekend.  I know Matt is most likely out this weekend, just need to know if anyone else will not be there.

***For pathfinder loot -
Things we should hand out/keep: Handy haversack (make sure everyone has one), Healing potions, Restoration materials (is this 100 gp or 1000 gp?), thoratic nanite chamber (+4 con), Red access card, ring of counterspells x2, +2 laser pistol, a bunch of ioun stones, both headbands (I use INT, but DWIGHT and rob both use it more than me), pearls of power, diamond dustm ring of deflection +2 and +4 (I'm using a +1), belt of physical perfection (Didn't we already give the to Curtis?), cloak of resistance +4 (I've got a +4), boots and gloves of elvenkind (I don't even know what these do anymore, but someone should use them), I didn't find gunslingers paunch, but found gunfighter's Pancho, and someone should definitely wear that if it the the gunfighter's Pancho.

*** Crafting
What are crafting requests (specially from Matt since he won't be here to coordinate, a list of a few things you want with your priority for spending money so we slot crafting time for it). I'll need to see if we can find a black market contact for the gun I want since we don't have the right lab for me to make it (Don't know if I can afford it yet anyways). So what tech/magic items should we be thinking about crafting? Do we have enough extra dimensional storage (I know, never enough)?

Money/time depending, my character's needs are armor improvements (no specifics yet), a heavy weapon of some sort and a +4 belt of CON and Headband of intellect (and maybe wisdom, strength and dex too). Some technological armor might also be nice (again, time and money dependent. +4 CON is most important, and auto-heal on armor and/or necklace are next in line, followed by heavy weapon).

My character has magic arms and armor, wondrous plus technological (wondrous) and technological arms and armor.

***For Star Wars - I now have copies of the hired gun, smugglers and colonists book, so Dwight doesn't need to carry those anymore unless an extra copy may be useful for a specific adventure.
 
Crafting Requests:
- Slap 1d6 electrical damage on my magic pistol so I can have a "plasma" cannon. It's already a +1 weapon with 1d6 fire damage. This is LEAST important of my upgrade requests, but it makes for fun roleplaying (Protman had a plasma cannon, etc.)
- Buff my basic magic items: I have a ring of protection +1 currently, only a +1 on my light shield, and only a Cloak of Resistance +2. That's all weak or extremely weak for these levels.
- My belt of physical stat buffing is just +4 Dex. Not terrible, but if you can slap even a +2 Con on there, it would help. Str isn't really used by my character.

 
To add to that, if you can get my shield, armor (currently +1 mithril breastplate), ring, and cloak up to +3 each, I'd be happy. I'm not as worried about attack bonuses on my gun since it generally targets Touch AC, so that's not a priority for money for me.

Also, that auto-heal thingie on my armor would be handy... Determination? Whatever it is that most of us get every game eventually because dying sucks and nobody wants the cleric to croak.

We can probably use her for any of the major items as I believe she can craft them faster, well craft anything faster, than everybody else. She only has one magical item, Headband of Intellect +2.

I have no clue what I want or need. I'm sure the stuff I currently have needs improvement.

As for storage, we probably need a portable hole or two at the least.
 
1) will i be able to reclaim the rob of the archmagi?(change its alignment)
2) I have craft Wondrous, wand, staff and rod. crazy insaine amount of Wondrous.
3) i got the +6 int item and threw in my +2 int.
 
Dwight -- yes can redeem the robe. Details later, but it will cost less than making a one from scratch. No, you can't recycle the metal from the crashed ships.

Matt -- I'm sure there will be some increases your defensive items as money and time allow. As for plasma weapons, some interesting ones will be coming available soon if you are interested.

Paul -- My suggestion would be to get a portable hole, then go for upgrades to your save boosting items, then defensive stuff. As for your companion, the military lab allows her to create most technological firearms (i.e. pistols and rifles) and some heavy weapons (e.g. rocket launcher and plasma launcher). Also many other tech items, like smart armor. And Efficient Construction allows her do to it for 25 percent less energy.

Terry -- Gloves of elvenkind give a competence bonus on concentration and Spellcraft checks. Boots of elvenkind give a competence bonus on Acrobatics checks. The party can make some heavy weapons now, though not the kind you're looking for yet.
