Starting a post for Saturday?
I believe Kevin will be running on the 9th, so we need to entertain ourselves without him again. Hopefully Dwight can run star wars, otherwise we'll have to think of something else to do (not like we don't have plenty of options).
I've got beef for dinner.
Saw the Han Solo movie on Monday. Just OK.
Maybe the new Star Wars book will be out tomorrow for me to pick up at the game store (assuming I get out of work early enough to get there, but I've been lucky in the regard lately). Supposedly will have Alchemy in it. I'm looking forward to their take on the force prophet.

I'll be there, but not sure when. I'm going to a retirement party and it is suppose to be from 2 pm to 5 pm down in Annapolis. So, will see how things go with it.
I am sorry guys, when we got to NC, they had a bug going around and i caught it cause of the rain and over use of ac. I just missed a 4 days of work and tried to worked today and almost passed out twice. sorry for the late notice but i was hoping if i could pull off a work day i should be okay for Saturday. I even canceled the 11 am train ride. Sinus cold went to chest cold. I promise i am still running, this is the worst year for being sick ever in a long time.

Don't let my "just OK" review of the Solo movie be a discouragement. As a SW junkie, I was mildly annoyed at their loose treatment of existing cannon. Thats really a minor detail though, it was a fun movie, with good action scenes and an overall entertaining story. The ending leaves a lot open for continuing plot, so the most annoying part is that there is little chance of expanding on that plot more than occasional flashbacks if episode 9 ever gets made; I just don't see them making a series of movies focusing on these characters for the timeline between the clone wars and new hope. Maybe it was a setup for the TV series supposedly in the works (I hoe, anyways). All of the new characters they introduced that survived the movie would make great characters to write new stories around (really only 2 characters other than Han and Chewie).

Its fucked up to not know no one will be here until after 6pm guys. Its not even possible to make alternate plans if I'm stuck waiting until 6pm to know you aren't going to be here, it would be just as bad to sit at a game store waiting for friends that are not going to show up. If you make alternate plans please let me know when you make the plans, not on Saturday when you head out to an alternate destination and realize it would be nice to tell me. You can post here, sent me an email, or text or call me; you should all have my phone number by now.
Terry is right about this: I think we've been thinking it doesn't matter if anyone of us is not there or shows up late, but if everyone does that, that's a problem. Anyway, please try to contact him earlier.
Anyway, as I said, I won't be available for the next 2 weeks.
