I just got the Starfinder pdf. It looks interesting. They have added several things, like Stamina points, Laser Defense, Melee Defense, Ballistic Defense and they seem to have removed the D&D standard races (except human, of course) and put in six other races, one of which is Android. And it seems they took away the second check on crits, unless the beginning story I read, the one that got the crit had something special that auto confirmed it. But, lasers seem to be able to set people on fire now (maybe that was the consequence for the crit that was scored, don't know yet as I haven't gotten that far yet in the book). I'm just up to character creation right now.
